Paz was born in Chile, she is a Bachelor in Art specialist in Hispanic literature and linguistics, has a diploma in Art History & another in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. She also has a Master in Cultural studies and Gender theory. She has more than 10 years of experience as a teacher & creative of educational products.
During 2017 she did her training for teaching Spanish in the place where Spanish Grammar was born, the Salamanca University. She worked as a Spanish teacher in highschools and private/group lessons in Poland, Serbia, Italy, Chile and Australia.
She arrived in Sydney 4 years ago and after working in language schools, she founded Spanishería, a project focused in learning Spanish with a Latin American approach, providing innovative and fun resources as: a podcast (Lupa, on the main platforms) instagram, a calendar, games, booklets, and others, as a complement for highly personalised classes.
Her focus is that the students learn in the better way for them and her goal is the understanding of the language as a fun tool of communication and connection in a respectful and inclusive enviroment for all people. Her classes are practical and dynamic and you will have a great time learning Spanish regardless your level.
