                Ankita Kumari

                Resume

Ankita is a multidisciplinary designer pursuing a Master of Design at UNSW, Sydney. Her work explores the intersection of objects, materials, and community engagement, using design as a medium for advocacy.

After earning her bachelor's degree in fashion design, Ankita developed a profound fascination with clay, leading her to a residential pottery and ceramic art course on a farm in rural South India. She was recognized for her talent and dedication and was appointed as the Studio Head, where she conducted regular hand-building and wheel pottery classes for residential students.
During her time in rural India, Ankita also engaged in farming, integrated local materials into her creations, collaborated with local potters, and hosted workshops for architecture and design colleges.
