POTTERY HOUSE

In this fun hands on workshop, children will create a tiny pottery house. Children will learn the fundamentals of handbuilding, using slab rolling, coiling, pinching and sculpting techniques. We will use different surface treatments to embellish and decorate the houses such as carving and the use of brightly coloured underglazes. Finished pieces will be fired and ready for collection in three to four weeks. 

NOTE: The pieces stay at the studio so that they can dry and be fired and glazed. You will receive an email when they are ready but this is a slow process and can take several weeks.

Did you know that if you book in a morning and afternoon workshop on the same day we provide lunchtime care between the classes !
If you need a longer day , we have available to purchase before and after care (8.30-9.30am) and (4.30-5.30pm).
