Kids Machine Sewing Workshop: Create Your Own Hair Accessories and drawstring bag ! - suitable for 8+ years
Let creativity and style come together in this fun, beginner-friendly sewing workshop! In this hands-on session, our young makers will learn how to safely use a sewing machine while designing and creating their own hair accessories — from scrunchies to headbands and bows.
But that’s not all! Students will also sew their very own drawstring bag — perfect for storing their handmade accessories or carrying special treasures. This project introduces simple construction techniques while building confidence and independence at the sewing machine.
Throughout the workshop, kids will develop foundational sewing skills including measuring, cutting, stitching, and assembling fabric pieces. By the end of the session, they’ll take home a collection of stylish accessories and a practical bag they’ve proudly made themselves.

In this fun, hands-on session, kids will learn the basics of sewing while making their very own pair of warm and snuggly pyjama pants — perfect for chilly winter nights.

This children’s art class focuses on drawing, painting, and a variety of crafts to nurture creative expression and enhance observational skills.
Students will explore an extensive range of mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, pastels, ink, pencils, and collage, to create their artworks. The class will also delve into craft techniques for sculpture and three-dimensional forms, such as weaving and paper-mâché.
Participants will have the chance to visit the Gallery and engage with current exhibitions through art projects. Additionally, the class structure allows students to collaboratively shape their learning journey, selecting subjects, techniques, or materials they wish to explore, all with supportive guidance.

Term 2 2026 Introduction to Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Mixed Media 5-7 Years
This fun and engaging class introduces young children to the exciting world of art, imagination, and independent thought through painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. Designed for ages 5–7, each session invites students to explore colour, shape, line, and texture while experimenting with a wide variety of materials and techniques.
Children will also learn about different forms of art-making from around the world, building an early appreciation for global cultures and creative expression. As part of the program, students will visit the upstairs gallery to view real artworks—sparking curiosity and helping them develop a deeper understanding of the rich world of art they inhabit.
Beyond creative exploration, these classes support important developmental areas, including fine motor skills, focus, confidence, and self-expression—all within a nurturing, age-appropriate environment perfect for budding young artists.

Term 2 2026 Children's Pottery - Thursdays (5-12 years) 3.30-5pm
This pottery class is suitable for beginners and for experienced young potters. Over the nine week term, children will make non-functional sculptural pieces and functional domestic wares such as bowls and plates. We will use a wide range of pottery building techniques such as coiling, pinching, and slab construction. Additionally, we will be exploring many different decorative surface treatments such as glazing, stamping, carving, and slip trailing.
No experience necessary. Cost of materials and firing included.
Bring a towel and apron.

A kids sewing course to introduce them into this life skill whilst having a lot of creative fun along the way.
As this is an intermediate class. We will be learning how to cut fabric from a pattern, how to set up a machine, seams, straight stitch, zig zag stitch and how to finish off.

INTRODUCING A BRAND NEW OFFERING FOR TERM 2!
8 WEEK COURSE
In this term of Art Exploration, children aged 5 to 9 will engage in a series of hands-on creative activities designed to develop imagination, fine motor skills, and artistic techniques. Throughout nine weeks, students will explore sculpture, painting, printmaking, simple animation, and sensory art by creating projects such as a clay coral reef, mini mixed-media artworks, textured prints, a gradient sunset seascape, a thaumatrope, layered print compositions, and a final edible artwork. Each class encourages experimentation with different materials, colours, textures, and processes while fostering creativity, confidence, and joyful artistic expression in a supportive and playful environment.
