This class is suitable for those wanting to start exploring the moving image as an art medium. This short course is an excellent way to gain the basic skills for making short, creative videos. You'll learn the essentials of making an original video – from idea and shooting on a smartphone, to editing and posting. We will meet online and in person to plan, shoot, and edit a beautiful video inspired by contemporary artists.

You will be guided to download and navigate the free software you need to add the professional finishing touches to your video. This is an opportunity for exploration of a new art medium, improving the quality of your personal videos and tailored advice from an experienced artist. A friendly environment where experimentation is encouraged.
