Pottery  - Fridays

Term 3- 9 week term

This popular term course is tailored to go at your own pace and with individual projects so its ideal for all levels: beginners, continuing students and more experienced potters. You can choose to work on the wheel or work with different hand building techniques. Sherelyn will be there to guide you and assist you.

MATERIALS 

REQUIRED 

• Basic Clay Toolkit, including kidney, clay cutters, throwing sponge, needle tool. (These can be purchased from the studios)
• Wet and Dry sandpaper
• Towel/ tea towel for throwing
• Respiratory mask suitable for filtering dust particles. N95 or P2/3 rating.
• Plastic sheets for covering clay

RECOMMENDED 

• Newspaper for bats and storing works.
• Apron or smock. Ideally PVC/vinyl or nonabsorbent material.
