Our Intro to Hand-Building Pottery course is designed for beginners eager to explore pottery techniques. In this weekly class, students learn essential skills such as pinching, coiling, and slab building to craft unique clay pieces by hand. With step-by-step guidance, participants will build confidence in shaping and designing pottery in a relaxed, creative environment.

This class is 3 sessions over 4 weeks. There will be no class on April 1st as there will be a scheduled 1 week break to allow for firing and then you will return to the studio for one final lesson where you can learn to glaze your works. 

We recommend bringing along an old towel and an apron to protect your clothes. Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. All basic tools are provided by the studios however we do have toolkit available for purchase if you would prefer your own set of tools.
